That's great it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane Lenny Bruce is not afraid....
I know, 2012. End of the world, right? Ok, so for those who don't know, new years eve saw me and Bear downtown, at the Big D NYE party. I was a finalist in a contest to win a car, I didn't win by the way. but that's OK, we got to go to a great party that kept us out of the masses of drunk 20 somethings and then we spent 2 hours in traffic getting out of there. Yeah, picked the kids up from the in laws at like 3 in the morning. Fun times.
We weren't allowed to take cameras with interchangeable lenses into the event. A short sighted rule if you ask me. I mean, I get not wanting someone to come in and broadcast your event, but someone who knows what their doing can use their cell phone to get great shots and/or broadcast if they want. Interchangeable lenses not required. I got a few shots on my phone and maybe at some point in time I'll get around to downloading them.
On to this year.. school starts up again next week for me, the minions are back in already, and I'm ready to go. Bring on the trigonometry.... For those just now reading me, I decided I wanted to learn more so I went back to school to finish my BFA last year.
Meanwhile, I'm looking at old pictures of Hyper Boy in Fort Walton Beach. He was so cute. Look at that hair!
I want to go to the beach. I got my master scuba diver certification and have only been diving in lakes so far. I really want to get into some water where I can actually see my hand in front of my face.
Here's another old shot of Dancer Girl rocking an all manual Pentax 35mm SLR when she was 6...
And that's all for now! Lets see if I can blog more regularly this year. That's my new years resolution. Once a week. Of course I resolved to give up Dr. Pepper last year and that lasted like five minutes, so we'll see.
