It's not the camera

You know, I say all the time that it's the photographer. That you can push even the most basic cameras pretty far if you know how. And I hear all the time from other photographers that you must have a DSLR to shoot in low light. I strongly disagree with that.

A few posts back I ranted about the absurdity that they wouldn't allow cameras with "interchangeable lenses" into the Big D NYE event. This is from that night....

School is out!

I think I appreciate summer vacation now even more than when I was a kid. I've finished classes but the kids have a few weeks left. That means blissful quiet in the house during the day. And loooong naps for me.
